Point-of-Use (POU)home drinking water reverse osmosis benefits

Crescent Hills Water is a POU (Point-of-Use) water company. That means, we filter the water coming into your home or business – in our case, using a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system. Then, the water is dispensed using either a faucet on the sink or a bottle-less water cooler. So, you always have fresh-tasting, crystal-clear water right at your fingertips; and no bulky bottles to deal with or plastic bottles to dispose of. Which is why we say, “bottled water… without the bottles!”

A POU system is much cleaner than more expensive systems. It is entirely sealed, meaning the water is never exposed to outside air. Typical bottled water coolers only have a bottle covering the water reservoir of the cooler. So it is not sealed, and the water is exposed to outside air. Our coolers have a sealed reservoir, keeping air out and freshness in.

This process is usually much cheaper than bottled water. It’s definitely safer, and it’s also more environmentally friendly. No more on-site storage of bottles, no more water delivery trucks, no more disposable bottles adding to our landfills. Just pure, good-tasting water.
